Hello!  My name is Kristen Stanfel.  This upcoming school year of 2017-2018 will be my 11th year teaching!  I started teaching 5th grade, then 4th grade, Language Arts for 6-8th grade online and last year I taught secondary school Math and Spanish I.  I love having a variety of experiences.  I have been a mentor teacher, team leader and I am a member of the San Tan Charter School Board.  I have two Masters degrees from Northern Arizona University.  I have my Masters in Elementary Education and Administration and Leadership.  My ultimate career goal is to go into Administration.

I have 4 wonderful sons.  My older boys are 16 year old twins in high school here at San Tan.  I then have a 11 year old here at San Tan entering 6th grade and a 6 year old entering First grade next year.  Our days and weekends are full of football and soccer!!!  I am an Arizona Native and I enjoy reading, camping and scrap booking.

This upcoming year will be my 4th year here at San Tan and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.  I love the families, the staff and everything about what San Tan stands for in educating children.  I feel as if this is my home.  I will be teaching Secondary Math and Spanish.  I will also be the Head coach for softball!

I look forward to a wonderful year.   I am excited to continue the relationships with families and students I have made here and to make new with those coming in!
